Welcome to the new Route 23 Blog. We will be blogging about many topics such as bus charters, bus tours, and bus trip fundraisers. You’re probably wondering what the difference is between the three? We’ll start by looking at a Bus Charter.
If you’re a person looking for a bus and you don’t need any trip planning and already have an itinerary then a bus charter is the way to go. You will give us an itinerary with a start time and date with an end time and date. Then you will give us the itinerary and from there we’ll be able to come up with an affordable quote for the bus. It will be be one price that cover the price of the charter. The only other expense not included in the price is the drivers gratuity. To book your charter, please click on BUS CHARTERS here.
The other kind of service we provide is bus tours. We do bus tours for Preformed Groups. For instance, if you’re a Senior Center and want to do a Greek town Casino trip you would call us and we would help you set the departure time and date of the trip. We would take care of all reservations, logistics, and even provide you with a flyer to help you promote your trip. Once we have a trip determined for your group, we would come up with a per person price and a minimum number of people (generally around 25-30 people) required for the trip to go. Route 23 Tours offers comps for the group leaders on most bus tours as well. Many of our bus tours are not listed here on the website. We do trips to the casino, sporting events, dinner theaters, color tours, wine tours, and many more. To get more information on the bus tours we offer, please call Route 23 at 810-577-8929.
What sets Route 23 Tours apart from everyone else is the Bus Trip Fundraisers. The Bus Trip Fundraiser is like a Bus Tour, but instead of getting a comp we offer money back for each person over the minimum number of people. For example, if you’re a Youth Baseball Team looking and book the Greektown Casino trip on a Sunday, the cost would be $40 per person and your group would keep $40 per person over 23 paid. That would allow you to raise $1320.00 for your Team. The great thing about the Bus Trip Fundraisers is that they are a lot of fun to do, their easy to do, and you make a good amount of money doing it.
